Dr. Faris Farassati – Overland Park, KS Councilman Evades Questions about ICNA

Dr. Faris Farassati is a Shiite Muslim from Iran who is also a brilliant mild mannered cancer scientist. Following the example of Prophet Mohamed, Dr. Farassati is also a “politician”.

In 2019 Dr. Farassati gave a video lecture at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Overland Park, Kansas about Islam and Christianity. During the lecture Dr. Farassati avoided the subject of SHARIA and quoted the Bible more than the Quran while claiming “we are all the same”. Dr. Farassati also mentioned in the video the conquering of Egypt by Muslims and claimed that the fourth Caliph Ali who ruled Egypt during this time was a “very just ruler.” Ali ibn Abi Talib(the cousin of Muhammad and the fourth “rightly guided” caliph), held the position that homosexuals should be burned to death and he was also a slave owner.

The ignorant Christians at St. Thomas Episcopal Church were easily misled by Farassati during the lecture that was virtually void of any specifics of Islam.

Dr. Faris Farassati wants to be the next mayor of Overland Park, KS. After learning that Farassati attended events ICNA-KC I asked the Dr. to clarify via twitter and he ignored my questions and immediately blocked me on twitter.

My tweet February 28, 2020 quoting Dr. Faris Farassati.
CausingFitna’s Josh Kafir has been blocked on twitter by Dr. Farassati for inquiring about connections to ICNA.

Dr. Faris Farassati obviously does not want to talk about Sharia or the fact he attended an event with ICNA-KC an organization that hosts hate preacher after hate preacher right here in the midwest.

Since Dr. Farassati has taken the route to silence this issue, I will assume everything I have posted here is something he hopes to ignore……. otherwise Dr. Farassati would have set me straight rather than block me on twitter. If perhaps Dr. Farassati cares to correct anything mentioned here, I am always open for discussion and I am prepared to retract and apologize for anything I have wrong.

Hate Preacher Khalid Yasin seen at the Islamic Center of Kansas 2010 – ICNA-KC

In the 2019 video below Dr. Farassati thanked delegations from Pakistan and China. Given the recent news that China and the “gain of function” revelations and Pakistan’s Khan asking for enforcement of Islamic blasphemy laws in the US, voters should stay alert……

Dr. Farassati may be a great doctor, but “political Islam” aka Sharia is a totalitarian system that has no place in the USA. It is disappointing to see Dr. Farassati hiding from the issue by blocking me on twitter.

ICNA KC fundraiser hosted by Mansoor Ali Syed with Sheikh Omar Sulleiman June 2015

Omar Suleiman was a featured speaker hosted by ICNA-KC for a fundraiser in 2015. Watch the video below for an example of Omar Suleiman’s rhetoric.

The online flyer above shows hate preacher Siraj Wahhaj was a keynote speaker for an ICNA-KC event as recent as 2018 at the Islamic Center of Johnson County.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar won the anti-Semite of the year award in 2019 and as the August 18, 2019 facebook post below from ICNA-KC shows Ilhan Omar joined a “back to school” event with ICNA-KC.

ICNA Leader Convicted in 1971 Bangladesh Massacres

by IPT News  •

A war crimes tribunal in Bangladesh convicted Ashrafuzzaman Khan and a second man Sunday on 11 charges related to the kidnapping and murder of 18 intellectuals at the end of the country’s 1971 war of independence.

Khan is a past secretary general of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and a leader of the group’s New York chapter. His name was removed from the ICNA-New York web page last month but he remains listed as the northeastern contact for the North American Imam’s Federation.

The special Bangladesh court issued a death sentence by hanging for Khan and co-defendant Chowdhury Mueen Uddin, who lives in the United Kingdom. Both men were tried in absentia, represented by court-appointed counsel.

“Justice will not be done if they are not awarded capital punishment,” senior judge Obaidul Hassan said in court.

A parade of witnesses testified that Khan and Chowdhury led a band of gunmen who kidnapped doctors, professors and journalists in the waning days of Bangladesh’s war to gain independence from Pakistan. The victims later were found in mass graves.

The tribunal charged Khan with being the “chief executor” of the killing squad, which was an offshoot of the Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami, called Al-Badr.

“They killed top professors, journalists and doctors to make the nation devoid of any talent,” senior prosecutor M.K. Rahman said after the verdicts.

One survivor testified that he saw Khan and Mueen-Uddin when he was kidnapped, and heard them address each other by name. But it is unlikely that Khan, a naturalized citizen living in New York, will be sent back to Bangladesh to face his punishment. The United States does not have an extradition treaty with Bangladesh.

“We are aware of reports that a US citizen has been sentenced by Bangladesh’s war crimes court. We have nothing more to add,” US embassy spokesperson Kelly McCarthy said.

Similarly, the United Kingdom does not extradite people wanted in other countries if the death penalty is involved.

ICNA was founded by South Asian Muslims in the United States, and its reading list emphasizes works by Jamaat-e-Islami founder Sayyid Abul ‘Ala Maududi.

Maududi is considered an influential Islamist thinker who preached that Islam was not like other religions because it offers a “system encompassing all fields of living” including politics, economics, and legislation. Muslims, he wrote, “must strive to change the wrong basis of government, and seize all powers to the rule and make laws from those who do not fear God.”

The tribunal has issued guilty verdicts against eight other people in connection with the 1971 killings. At least eight more people still face charges.

We recently posted on February 11, 2020 the ICNA-KC connection with Jamaat-e-Islami of India. You can read it here.
